In a recent operation, units of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) conducted raids in the Al Mu’azi area of Gaza, targeting numerous terrorist infrastructures established by Hamas. These structures were found both near and inside civilian buildings within the camp. The IDF forces, consisting of armored and engineering units, undertook the mission to neutralize these threats.
Weapons Concealed in Civilian Homes
During the operation, the forces made startling discoveries, finding weapons hidden inside homes belonging to families with children. In one instance, a children’s puzzle depicting the infiltration of Israeli territory by armed terrorists was uncovered. The IDF acted swiftly to address the security risk posed by these hidden weapons within civilian residences.
Destruction of Hamas Headquarters and Weapon Production Facility
A significant achievement of the IDF forces was the raid on a Hamas headquarters, where they uncovered a factory engaged in the production of weapons and guns. Additionally, a rocket launcher, loaded and ready to launch, was located in a nearby olive grove. The IDF successfully destroyed these facilities, dismantling the weapons production capacity and preventing potential rocket attacks.
Elimination of Terrorist Threats
Throughout the operation, the IDF forces destroyed dozens of terrorist infrastructures, eliminating more than 30 terrorists who had been actively firing RPGs and anti-tank missiles at them. The decisive actions taken by the IDF aimed to neutralize immediate threats and disrupt the capabilities of Hamas in the region.
The IDF remains committed to safeguarding its citizens and addressing security challenges posed by terrorist organizations, taking necessary measures to ensure the protection of both military personnel and civilians.
