Gosling expressed happiness for his co-star America Ferrera, who received a nomination for best supporting actress for her role as Gloria in the Barbie movie.
In an interview with Variety, America Ferrera expressed her disappointment over Robbie and Gerwig’s absence from the best actress and best director categories, praising Robbie’s remarkable achievements as an actress and Gerwig’s comprehensive directorial contributions.
