The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) announced that its troops are actively working to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and neutralize terrorists in the Gaza Strip. This ongoing effort includes what the IDF describes as “intelligence-based, targeted operations” focusing on the Rafah area.
In the past 24 hours, IDF soldiers carried out several targeted raids in Rafah. During these operations, they found weapons and engaged in close-quarters combat, eliminating several terrorists. One specific operation involved using a drone to identify and strike an armed terrorist. Following this, an Israel Air Force (IAF) aircraft bombed the building where the terrorist had been hiding.
The IAF also targeted and destroyed a launch site in Rafah that contained rockets ready to be fired at Israel. This strike aimed to prevent potential rocket attacks from Gaza into Israeli territory.

Additionally to the activities in Rafah, IDF troops are conducting operations in the central Gaza Strip. Over the last day, these forces eliminated more than ten terrorists. Among those killed was a terrorist involved in the October 7th massacre in southern Israel.
IAF Strikes Across Gaza
Throughout the past day, the IAF carried out strikes on more than 45 targets across the Gaza Strip. These targets included military structures, armed terrorist cells, rocket launchers, tunnel shafts, and other terrorist infrastructure. The IAF’s actions are part of a broader effort to weaken terrorist capabilities and infrastructure in Gaza.
The IDF’s continuous operations in Gaza, particularly in Rafah and the central region, are part of a strategic effort to combat terrorist activities and infrastructure. By eliminating key terrorists, destroying weapons, and targeting potential threats, the IDF aims to ensure the security of Israel and its citizens.
