Progress in Defence, Technology, and Economy
Eric Garcetti, the US Ambassador to India, has highlighted the potential for significant advancements in defence partnerships, emerging technologies, and economic growth between the US and India.
Garcetti emphasized that these developments can be achieved through the collaboration of an “ambitious India” and an “ambitious America” during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term, often referred to as Modi 3.0.
In an interview, Garcetti congratulated Prime Minister Modi and the BJP for their electoral victory. He expressed optimism about the future of India-US relations, stating that Modi 3.0 is an opportunity to transform the aspirations of both nations into tangible outcomes. He admired the logistics, security, and overall execution of the world’s largest democratic exercise. He highlighted the strong relationship between the two largest democracies and expressed eagerness to continue working with Indian leaders.
