On Sunday in New York, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a CEOs roundtable in after addressing Indian community at the diaspora event in Long Island. Big tech heads including Google, Adobe CEOs attended the meeting. The Prime Minister met a host of tech leaders representing industries including semiconductors, electronics, and biotechnology as PM Modi told them about opportunities, offers India has to offer.
Apart from Google’s Sundar Pichai and Adobe’s Shantanu Narayen, IBM CEO Arvind Krishna, AMD CEO Lisa, Moderna Chairman Noubar Afeyan. During address to the Indian diaspora, PM Modi said that India creates opportunities and no longer waits. He further said India is going to become a semi-conductor power of the future and announced an upcoming chip park in West Bengal’s Kolkata.

The Prime Minister also told the Indian community that India has become world’s second largest phone manufacturer. Calling India as a ‘land of opportunities’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi told a mega gathering of Indian-Americans that he has set very ambitious goals for the country during his third term. Speaking at the packed Nassau Veterans Coliseum on Long Island in New York, Modi said he is pursuing a three-fold sense of responsibility’ in this term.
‘After going through this tough election process, this long election system, something unprecedented happened in India in 2024. What happened, ‘Abkibaar Modi Sarkaar’ told Modi thousands of Indian Americans, amid chants of ‘Modi-Modi’.
PM Modi tweeted on X (formerly Twitter), ‘Had a fruitful roundtable with tech CEOs in New York, discussing aspects relating to technology, innovation and more. Also highlighted the strides made by India in this field. I am glad to see immense optimism towards India’.

‘For the first time in 60 years, the people of India have given a mandate which has great significance. During my third term, I have very ambitious goals to achieve. We have to move forward with three times the strength,” he said.
PM Modi further said, ‘Every Indian has confidence in India and its achievements. India today is a land of opportunities. It’s no longer waiting for opportunities. It is now creating opportunities’. He further added, ‘That in just a decade 250 million people have been lifted out of poverty’. ‘This was possible because we changed our old way of thinking. We changed our approach. We empowered the poor’, he told the Indian Americans.
