Washington, 05 February (HS): Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met US President Donald Trump here on Tuesday. After this, both addressed a joint press conference. Trump told reporters in the East Room of the White House, “The United States will occupy the Gaza Strip with the help of its army. Palestinians should now leave from there.” According to CNN news, Trump said that the United States and Israel will work together on the Gaza Strip. Both countries will be responsible for the future of the Gaza Strip. All dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons will be destroyed. The land will be leveled and new buildings will be constructed. He said that America can send its army to the Gaza Strip. Whatever is necessary for Gaza will be done. Trump said that he is feeling a situation of long-term ownership. He has talked to many people in this regard. Everyone is of the opinion that the United States will rule Gaza. Employment opportunities will be created there. Palestinians will not be involved in the development of the new Gaza.
Trump said he is committed to freeing the remaining hostages in Gaza.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu praised Trump on this occasion. He said that President Trump seems to have added great strength and powerful leadership to this effort. For all his efforts to sign a ceasefire and hostage release agreement, Trump will still need to oversee the remaining two phases of the three-phase plan. Before Netanyahu’s arrival in Washington, Trump has signed a directive taking a tough stand against Iran. Netanyahu reached President Trump’s guest house Blair House late on Sunday night. He is expected to stay in America till the end of the week.
