Dubai, 7 February (HS): The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday announced the release of the official song of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 ‘Jeeto Baazi Khel Ke’. The song is sung by famous singer Atif Aslam and will further increase the excitement about the upcoming tournament.
The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in Pakistan and UAE from 19 February to 9 March, in which a total of 15 matches will be played. This official song has been launched just 12 days before this much-awaited tournament, which will take the enthusiasm of the fans to new heights.
The song will reflect the culture of Pakistan
This official song has been produced by Abdullah Siddiqui, while its lyrics have been written by Adnan Dhool and Asfandyar Asad. The music video will give a glimpse of the streets, markets and stadiums of Pakistan, which displays the love and passion for cricket.
Atif Aslam expressed happiness about his love for cricket
On being a part of the song, Atif Aslam said, “I am very fond of cricket and I always wanted to be a fast bowler. Due to my passion and understanding of the game, I can feel the enthusiasm of the fans very well. Especially the thrill of India-Pakistan matches is always different. That’s why I am very excited to be a part of the official song of the Champions Trophy 2025.”
ICC and PCB expressed expectations
ICC Chief Commercial Officer Anurag Dahiya said at the song launch, “There are only 12 days left for the tournament to begin and in such a situation, this song will perfectly reflect the spirit of the Champions Trophy and the identity of Pakistan. We urge fans to buy tickets now and be a part of this exciting event.”
Sumair Ahmed Syed, Tournament Director, ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and Chief Operating Officer, PCB, said, “This song will prove to be another milestone for the tournament. Atif Aslam has given many hit anthems for PSL, and we are confident that this song will also create a great buzz. We hope that all the fans will reach the stadium to support their teams and make this tournament historic.”
