Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama Chhaava continues to dominate the box office even after 23 days of its release. The film, which tells the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has now crossed Rs 500 crore in India.
On Saturday, Vicky Kaushal shared the box office update on Instagram, revealing that Chhaava had collected Rs 502.7 crore in 22 days. He thanked fans for making the film an “emotion” and helping to carry forward the legacy of the Maratha ruler.

The film, also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna, has received widespread praise. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged Chhaava during an event in Delhi, saying the film was making “waves.”
Vicky Kaushal expressed his gratitude by resharing PM Modi’s post on Instagram, calling it an “honour beyond words.”
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is based on Shivaji Sawant’s famous Marathi novel. It also features Diana Penty, Divya Dutta, and Ashutosh Rana in key roles.
With its strong box office performance, Chhaava remains a must-watch for audiences across the country.
