On Friday, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) hit back at Pakistan over its baseless allegations following Balochistan train hijack. While denying suggestions made by the Pakistan foreign office over the recent attack on the Jaffar Express, the Ministry has exposed Pakistan for being the global epicentre of terrorism.
This response from India clearly states that Pakistan needs to address its own internal issues rather than attributing them to external entities. Jaiswal’s statement shows India’s longstanding stance on Pakistan’s alleged role in fostering terrorism in the region.
Earlier on Thursday, Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan claimed that the rebels involved in the attack on the Jaffar Express were in contact with ring leaders in Afghanistan.
The statement shows a conspiracy involving external actors, indirectly hinting at India’s involvement. However, India’s denial seeks to dispel any such notions and reiterates its commitment to peace and stability in the region.
