On Friday, United States President Donald Trump stated that he does not want Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other global leaders who visit him to see the unsightly conditions around federal buildings in Washington, DC, including tents and graffiti.
At the Department of Justice, Trump made these remarks in a speech where he announced efforts to clean up the capital, focusing on removing these eyesores.
He said in remarks at the DoJ, “We’re cleaning up our city. We’re cleaning up this great capital, and we’re not going to have crime, and we’re not going to stand for crime, and we’re going to take the graffiti down, and we’re already taking the tents down, and we’re working with the administration”.
