On Monday, the Jammu and Kashmir police filed an FIR against the influencer Orhan Awatramani better known as Orry and eight others who allegedly consumed alcohol and non-vegetarian food near the Vaishno Devi Shrine base camp.
The police have been trying to nab the socialite and his organiser Cherry Sin, but both their phone are switched off and they remain untraceable. On March 18 the activists of the Dogra Front staged a protest against the 29-year-old socialite.
Just before their planned visit to Vaishno Devi, Orry and his friends landed in trouble following a video of them enjoying themselves in their hotel room, along with a bottle of alcohol, went viral online.
The police, social media users and the protestors have accused the socialite influencer of “hurting sentiments” and violating the “law of the land”. While the group has crossed the Jammu and Kashmir border, the police officials continue to be on the lookout for them.
