Over nine people were killed and 41 injured as terrorists opened fire at a bus carrying pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh in Jammu & Kashmir’s Reasi district.

Talking to her Instagram stories, Priyanka shared a post in which she condemned the terror attack calling it heinous.
She questioned, ‘Why civilians and children ?’ Priyanka’s note read, ‘Devastated. This heinous attack on innocent pilgrims is horrific. Why civilians and children ?! It’s so hard to comprehend the hatres we’re witnessing around the world’, followed by the heartbreaking emoticon.
The unfortunate incident happened when the bus was on its way from the Shiv Khori temple to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra. As the terrorist opened fire at the bus, the driver lost control causing it to veer off the road and fall into a deep gorge near the Poni area of Reasi.
Following the attack, a joint operation involving police, the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the Army and central intelligence agencies was launched.
