BJP Slams YS Sharmila for Opposing 5,000 Temples in SC/ST Areas, Calls Her Anti-Hindu
The Bharatiya Janata Party has come down heavily on Andhra Pradesh Congress after its State President YS Sharmila brazenly opposed the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s (TTD) decision to build 5,000 temples in SC/ST localities. Sharmila went further to accuse CM Chandrababu Naidu of adopting “RSS agenda” and “fully embracing BJP’s Hindutva politics” and questioned why temples should be built in Dalit colonies.
TTD Board member Bhanu Prakash condemned Sharmila’s remarks. Prakash said: “Her words insult Hindu sentiments and the devotees who donate selflessly to TTD. She must apologise immediately for opposing a dharmic initiative aimed at uplifting Dalit and tribal communities.”
Slamming Sharmila for opposing the TTD’s decision, BJP Andhra Pradesh spokesperson Sadineni Yamini Sarma vowed, “If not 5,000, we will build 50,000 temples. Who is Sharmila to object? She is an anti-Hindu politician. If she has any courage, let her question churches about the money collected from people in the name of donations and tenth portions (dasmams). Hindu institutions don’t need lessons from her.”
In the meantime, critics have raised questions on Sharmila’s family connection in supporting Christian missionary activities and accused her of anti-Hindu bias in opposing temple projects.
Reports indicate rising Christian dominance has led to opposition against Hindu rituals, causing unrest among Hindus who demand government intervention to protect temple traditions and Sanatana Dharma.
Delhi Police Detain Bangladeshi Illegals Md. Abdulaziz Mian and Md. Rafiqul Islam In Mahipalpur
South West District police detained two Bangladeshi illegals, Md. Abdulaziz Mian (46) and Md. Rafiqul Islam (29), who had been living in India without valid visas for two years. They were caught in Mahipalpur after a tip-off and failed to produce valid documents.
Deportation proceedings have been initiated through the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Delhi.
Earlier on September 26, Delhi Police detained three Bangladeshi illegals —Jhalak Pal (25), and Md. Nurul Abser (40) and Mohammed Azizul Hoque (21)—in the RK Puram area after getting intel about their presence.
These three migrants admitted to entering India on flight visas in 2025 but overstaying, and were reportedly searching for work while planning to move to European countries such as Portugal but failed to obtain visas.
Leader of Illegal Religious Conversion Gang Matthew Arrested in Lucknow, Over 50 People Converted to Christianity
On September 28, the police in Lucknow arrested Malkhan, also known as Matthew, the leader of an illegal religious conversion gang.
The accused is charged with converting more than 50 people, mainly from Scheduled Castes in nearby villages, by luring them with false promises of treatment for serious illnesses and financial assistance.
The accused had adopted Christianity 10 years ago. He used to organize “healing gatherings” on his farm.
During these gatherings, Matthew would read from the Bible, sprinkle “holy water,” show videos to brainwash people, and insult Hindu gods.
Police arrested the accused and recovered Bibles and promotional materials from his house.
A case has been registered against Matthew, who has been sent to jail. The police are now investigating the sources of funding related to this case.
UP: In Sitapur, Naimuddin Forced Hindu Students to Write ‘I Love Muhammad’; Parents Accuse Manager of Links to Jihadi Organizations
In a shocking incident from a private school in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, Hindu students were forced to write the phrase ‘I Love Muhammad.’ It is alleged that under the instructions of Naimuddin, the manager of Amar Bapu Shiksha Niketan School, the principal made Hindu students of classes 3 and 5 write ‘I Love Muhammad’ during a slogan competition.
After students reported this, angry parents rushed to the school and informed the police.
The police team arrived at the scene and recorded statements from the students and parents.
Parents have seriously accused Naimuddin and his brother Sumiuddin of being linked to jihadi organizations.
Some parents claimed that Naimuddin’s brother used to make bombs and died in an explosion caused by one of those bombs.The police are currently investigating the matter.
China Waives off 30% Import Duty on Indian Medicines
China has reduced the 30% import duty on pharmaceutical products from India to zero.
Indian pharmaceutical companies can now export medicines to China without any customs duties.
Trade experts believe this move could boost Indian medicine exports by billions of dollars and improve the India-China trade balance.
China’s decision comes at a time when U.S. President Donald Trump announced a 100% import duty on pharmaceutical products, effective from October 1.
The United States is the largest export market for Indian drug manufacturers. In the last financial year, India exported medicines worth approximately ₹77,000 crore ($8.7 billion) to the U.S.
Over 300 Schools and Indian Airports in Delhi Receive Bomb Threat Emails
More than 300 schools and institutions in Delhi, along with several airports across the country, received bomb threat emails on September 28.
The threats included schools such as CRPF Public School in Dwarka and Sarvodaya Vidyalaya near Qutub Minar.
According to officials, the threatening emails were sent by a group named “Terrorizers111,” which has issued similar threats before.
Police teams, fire departments, and bomb disposal squads were immediately deployed at all the schools and airports.
After thorough searches and investigations, nothing suspicious was found, and all threats were declared false alarms.
Delhi Police is conducting an in-depth technical investigation to trace the source of the emails.
Corruption Has Doubled: Karnataka Contractors’ Body Slams Siddaramaiah Government
The Karnataka State Contractors Association (KSCA) has accused the Congress government under Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of rampant corruption stressing that it has doubled under the Congress regime.
In a letter dated September 25, KSCA reminded CM Siddaramaiah of his promise as Opposition Leader that contractors wouldn’t have to pay commissions, lamenting that these have doubled under his leadership.
KSCA revealed that government institutions like Nirmiti Kendra and Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Corporation (KRIDL) award projects to associates of elected representatives who keep cuts and subcontract to senior contractors, affecting project quality.
The association states ₹32,000 crore worth of contractor bills are pending for clearance, with departments only clearing 15–20% quarterly and favoring selected contractors by bypassing seniority rules.
KSCA accused municipal administration, urban development, and labor departments of manipulating tender processes, bundling tenders into larger packages for powerful contractors. The contractors body stressed that despite all this the ministers are not intervening to stop these corrupt practices.
These corruption allegations come amid ongoing controversy over the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam, involving illegal compensatory land allotments to Siddaramaiah’s wife during his tenure as chief minister.
Activists have petitioned Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot and Lokayukta police, claiming the illegal allotment of 14 prime sites to Siddaramaiah’s family caused an estimated ₹45 crore loss to the state exchequer, implicating Siddaramaiah, his wife, son, and senior MUDA officials.
“Bullets Must Be Answered With Bullets”: Home Minister Amit Shah Rejects Maoist’s Ceasefire Offer
Union Home Minister Amit Shah rejected the Maoists’ offer of a one-month ceasefire, asking them to surrender by laying down their weapons. He assured that security forces would not fire even a single bullet on those who surrender peacefully.
Speaking at a seminar on ‘Naxal Mukt Bharat: Ending Red Terror Under PM Modi’s Leadership’ in Delhi, HM Shah said there is no need for a ceasefire if the Maoists want to give up arms and reiterated the government’s readiness with a strong rehabilitation policy for surrendered extremists.
The purported Maoists’ letter requested a one-month long ceasefire and pause in anti-Naxal operations, claiming past violence was a mistake. However, HM Shah emphasized that attacks on innocent citizens will be met with force, stating, “Bullets must be answered with bullets.”
HM Shah criticized leftist political parties and activists for supporting Maoists, questioning why they do not advocate for the human rights of tribal victims affected by Naxal violence.
He reaffirmed the government’s ambitious goal to make India free of Naxalism by March 31, 2026, highlighting the need to tackle the root ideological causes fueling the insurgency.
The Home Minister stressed that ending Naxalism requires addressing its ideological, legal, and financial support networks within society—not just neutralizing armed fighters.
HM Shah concluded that while security forces can neutralize armed Maoists or facilitate their surrender, sustained efforts are essential on the ideological front to eradicate the Naxalite movement permanently.
PoJK Holds “Shutter-Down and Wheel-jam” Strike Against Pakistan Government Amid Internet Blackout
Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) is currently witnessing one of the largest protest in recent history against the oppressive regime of the Pakistani military backed Shahbaz Sharif government. A civil society alliance – Awami Action Committee (AAC) launched a “shutter-down and wheel-jam” strike from Monday, possibly indefinite, demanding political and economic reforms.
It has issued a 38-point charter demanding structural reforms. This includes the abolition of 12 legislative seats in the PoK assembly reserved for Kashmiri refugees living in Pakistan, subsidised flour, fairer power tariffs tied to the Mangla hydropower project, and implementation of long-delayed reforms promised by Islamabad.
AAC leader Shaukat Nawaz Mir emphasised that the campaign is for fundamental rights denied for over 70 years and warns of “people’s wrath” if demands are unmet.
To crush the people’s uprising, Islamabad has deployed heavy security, including troops from Punjab and 1,000 additional police from the capital, with flag marches and sealing of city entry/exit points to maintain order.
Internet access has been cut from midnight to curb protest mobilization, and security is tightened around sensitive installations in key PoK towns.

Michigan Church Massacre: Thomas Jacob Sanford Kills 4, Injures 8 in Hybrid Attack Before Police Neutralize Him
A tragic attack unfolded during a Sunday service at the Mormon Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan. Gunman later identified as Thomas Jacob Sanford rammed his pickup truck into the church, opened fire on worshippers, and set the building on fire. The assault resulted in four people killed and more than eight injured.
The attacker, Thomas Jacob Sanford, was neutralized by police just eight minutes after the first emergency call. After fleeing the church, Sanford exchanged gunfire with officers in the parking lot before being fatally shot.
Experts described the assault as a “hybrid threat,” involving multiple tactics: vehicle-ramming to create chaos, shooting into a crowd, and deliberately starting a fire, all designed to maximize fatalities and damage.
Thomas Jacob Sanford, 40, was an Iraq War veteran who served in the U.S. Marines from 2004 to 2008. He lived in Burton, Michigan, was married, and had a son who suffers from a rare genetic disorder requiring extensive medical care.
Investigators continue to probe the motive behind Sanford’s rampage, conducting searches of his property and examining his cell phone records. Public information indicates possible political ties, as Sanford was photographed wearing a Trump 2020 campaign shirt, and a Trump-Pence yard sign was visible at his residence.
President Donald Trump condemned the attack on social media, calling it a “horrendous” act and labeling it as another targeted assault on Christians in America.
In response, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced plans to form a task force focused on protecting places of worship nationwide to prevent similar attacks in the future.
This shooting marks the 324th mass shooting in the United States this year and occurred just hours after a deadly shooting at a waterfront bar in Southport, North Carolina, which left three dead and multiple injured.
“Nepal Judicial Commission Bars Ex-PM KP Sharma Oli and Four Leaders From Leaving Kathmandu, Cancels Passports Amid Gen-Z Protest Shooting Probe”
A judicial commission investigating the shooting of youths during the Gen-Z movement in Nepal has taken action against five prominent leaders, including former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
All these leaders have been banned from leaving Kathmandu, and their passports have been canceled.
The Nepal Police and Armed Police Force have been instructed to closely monitor their activities and submit daily reports to the commission.
The commission claims that the movement of these leaders could affect the investigation, which is why these strict measures have been implemented.
After the Gen-Z protests, former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli attended a public event for the first time, where he denied all allegations against him. He insisted that his government did not order firing on the protesters.
Oli referred to the current government led by Sushila Karki as the “Gen-Z government,” stating that it was formed through violence and propaganda rather than following constitutional procedures.
The mastermind behind the Kanpur violence, Zubair Ghazi, has been arrested; the expelled police constable who incited the crowd after Friday prayers has been caught.
On September 26, Kanpur Police arrested Zubair Ahmad Khan, also known as Zubair Ghazi, on charges of attempting to spread communal tension after the Friday prayers.
According to the police, Zubair tried to incite the crowd by playing inflammatory audio clips.
Zubair Ahmad Khan was previously a constable in the Uttar Pradesh Police but was suspended from service in 2021 following departmental action.
The accused was recently associated with the Samajwadi Party. Photos of him with Faisal Mahmood, the SP Kanpur district president, have gone viral on social media.
The police have registered a case against him under serious sections.
