Nayab Government’s Vision 2047: Action Plan for Yamuna Cleaning, ₹11,607 Crore Rail Corridor
The Nayab government has prepared a comprehensive action plan to make the Yamuna river pollution-free. Under the plan, construction of 8 Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETP) and 13 Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) will be completed by March 2028. A total of 21 new treatment plants will be installed to ensure the cleaning of the Yamuna, which is expected to bring significant improvement in the river’s water quality.
The Nayab government has also set a target to make the state a one trillion-dollar economy by the year 2047. The roadmap for this vision was presented on the first day of the budget session.
Rail Corridor Project Worth ₹11,607 Crore
Work on the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor, considered a game changer for the state’s economy, is progressing rapidly. The project, estimated to cost ₹11,607 crore, is targeted to be completed by June 2029.
To improve transportation for residents, the Nayab government is also planning to introduce 650 new standard-floor air-conditioned buses in 10 major cities including Gurugram and Faridabad.
Focus on Social Security and Public Welfare
The Nayab government has increased the social security pension to ₹3,200 per month. The government’s focus is on women’s empowerment, employment opportunities for youth and increasing farmers’ income. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, more than 1.56 lakh families have been provided housing so far.
Expansion of Roads and Infrastructure
Strengthening infrastructure, the Nayab government has committed to widening roads across the state and developing them according to modern standards. The Chief Minister believes that better connectivity is the foundation of the state’s development, which will further strengthen Haryana’s identity as a global industrial hub in the future.
