The medical body urged the PM to act immediately to protect stranded Indian students.

It requested coordination with the External Affairs Ministry and Indian missions in Bangladesh.

AIMSA stressed that students studying abroad expect government support during crises.

The association also asked for stronger embassy support and clear communication to avoid panic.

The latest release includes hundreds of video and audio files.

Some material contains jail surveillance footage from August 2019.

Epstein was found dead in his prison cell in August 2019.

UP: Fake Police Gang Busted in Ballia, 6 Arrested for Illegal Extortion

In Ballia, police exposed a fake police gang operating on the Rasra–Kasimabad road.

The gang wore police uniforms to stop vehicles and collect money illegally.

They forced drivers to paste stickers and threatened them with a “police challan” if they refused.

The accused extorted amounts ranging from ₹50 to ₹300 from motorists.

Police caught six members red-handed and recovered ₹12,000 cash, mobile phones, stickers, and receipts.

The racket was uncovered after a car driver alerted authorities.

FIR registered under serious charges; all accused sent to jail. Further investigation is ongoing.

Hamirpur police arrested absconding Maulvi Jabbar alias Hafiz in a case of kidnapping and forced conversion of a minor Hindu girl.

Police said a Muslim युवक hid his religious identity, misled the girl, and abducted her; the main accused youth is already in jail.

The victim’s family alleged that Maulvi Hafiz carried out the minor’s forced Islamic conversion in Belatal.

Acting on specific inputs, police conducted a raid and arrested the Maulvi, who had been on the run for a long time.

After strict questioning, he was sent to jail.

On the SP’s orders, police added sections under the anti-conversion law and are conducting a detailed investigation.

Crypto Scam Exposed: ED Raids 21 Locations Across India

Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at 21 locations, including Maharashtra, Delhi, and Karnataka, targeting M/s 4th Bloc Consultants’ crypto investment scam.

Accused created fake crypto platforms resembling real ones and lured investors with promises of high returns via social media ads.

The scam has been active since 2015; funds were moved across India and abroad using hawala, shell companies, and P2P transactions.

Investigations uncovered several movable and immovable properties in India and overseas, along with suspicious crypto wallets used for money laundering.

The syndicate misused celebrity images to gain trust; probes into their foreign bank accounts are ongoing.

Ruby, With Lover Gaurav, Kills Husband Rahul; Body Cut Into Pieces Using Grinder and Dumped in Drain and Ganga

Ruby, along with her lover Gaurav, killed her husband Rahul and dismembered his body using a grinder.

The arrests were confirmed by Superintendent of Police K K Bishnoi. Accused Ruby and Gaurav were arrested on December 20 and later sent to jail.

Ruby, a resident of Mohalla Chunni, Chandousi, had filed a missing complaint on November 18, stating her husband Rahul (38) was missing.

On December 15, police recovered a severely mutilated body from a drain near the Eidgah area. The body was missing the head, hands, and legs, raising suspicion of a planned crime.

During investigation, police found the name “Rahul” written on the body. Technical analysis showed Rahul’s mobile phone had been switched off since November 18.

Police suspected Ruby’s role and questioned her in detail. Ruby confessed that she and her lover Gaurav killed Rahul after he caught them in an illicit relationship.

Rahul was attacked with an iron rod and iron pestle, leading to his death on the spot.The accused then used a wood grinder to cut the body into parts.

One part was dumped in a drain, while remaining parts were thrown into the Ganga river near Rajghat.

Police recovered the grinder, iron hammer, and other tools used in the murder. DNA samples of the body have been preserved and will be matched with Rahul’s children.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Further investigation is currently underway.

West Bengal: Two Bangladeshi Infiltrators Arrested with Fake Aadhaar Card in Cooch Behar

West Bengal’s Cooch Behar district police arrested two Bangladeshi nationals near the Changrabandha border.

The accused have been identified as Abu Bakkar Siddique and Shamim Al Mamun.

A fake Indian Aadhaar card and a Bangladeshi National ID were recovered from Abu Bakkar.

He was caught moving suspiciously near the immigration checkpost.

During questioning, Abu Bakkar admitted he entered India illegally one year ago via the Petrapole border with the help of an agent.

He revealed that he was working at a hotel in Bengaluru and had come to Changrabandha to return home.

The second accused, Shamim Al Mamun, was arrested from a private lodge.

Shamim claimed he had travelled to Nepal and later crossed into Indian territory illegally.

Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi Suspends Visa Services Amid Ongoing Violence

The Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi has temporarily suspended all visa and consular services until further notice.

The decision was announced through a notice pasted on the commission’s wall, citing “unavoidable circumstances.”

Officials confirmed that no new visas will be issued during this period.

The move comes amid continued violence in Bangladesh following the death of Usman Hadi.

The unrest includes anti-India protests and attacks on Hindu communities in the neighboring country.

Earlier, the Indian High Commission in Dhaka also stopped visa services on December 21 due to security concerns.

Another leader, whose father was a freedom fighter, said their house was attacked about a year ago despite their family’s sacrifices for the nation.

He emotionally said Bangladesh now feels unsafe for them and claimed mobs are carrying out violence in the name of religion.

The Election Commission has also raised serious security concerns ahead of the February 12 general elections.

The poll body has demanded extra protection for its officials and offices across the country.
